Despite cold and windy weather, about 450 children and parents came to Fountain Square the day before Easter to hunt for eggs on Fountain Square. Kids in three age groups ran all over picking up brightly colored eggs filled with candy donated by Graeter's. One lucky child in each age group found the "golden egg" and took home a special basket of Easter toys and games.

Attendance in 2008 was about 50% higher than the prior year, and local TV media coverage was valued at $2,580.
