The horse-drawn carriage stand is located on Vine Street in front of Tiffany’s (across from Fountain Square). They are available most Friday and Saturday evenings, weather permitting.
Your best seat in the house for all that Fountain Square has to offer may be a Metro bus.
Most Metro routes serve downtown and Fountain Square, and if you’re looking for savings, convenience, a stress-free commute, and a way to reduce your carbon footprint, Metro takes you there.
Find out more about Metro. Visit www.go-metro.com.
Metro is a non-profit, tax-funded public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 20 million rides per year. Metro supports the economy, protects the environment, encourages energy independence, and improves the quality of life in Greater Cincinnati.
The Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) provides transit bus service from Northern Kentucky into downtown Cincinnati. TANK buses provide more than 3 million trips each year to people working in the downtown central business district.
TANK operates the Southbank Shuttle, which stops on Fountain Square in front of the Westin Hotel every 20 minutes during shuttle operating hours. Visitors to Fountain Square can use the Shuttle to take a quick trip across the river to visit other attractions in Covington and Newport, KY.
TANK also operates the Airport Express, which stops just one block from the Square, at 4th & Main in front of the Atrium Building. The Airport Express provides a trip to CVG for just $1.75!
Fetch Taxi Service
Let’s be honest, it’s never fun to get 3 busy signals before you find a number that works. Fetch uses a single number (513-35-FETCH) and delivers immediate access over 8 different cab companies that serve the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky region.
Fetch is a grassroots project that resulted from the brilliant minds of the Cincinnati Regional Chamber’s Young Professional Leadership Development program, C-Change.
The C-Change Class 3 Transportation team wanted to find a way to promote taxi service, increase the convenience of taxis, and reward good quality taxis!
