Thanks to the generous support of title sponsor PNC Bank, Fountain Square features eight live music events every week through the summer in 2009.

The weekly lineup features something for everyone:

Southern Sounds Tuesdays, 7-9 pm: The area's best blues and country bands and performers.

World Wide Wednesday Wednesdays, 7-9 pm: A wide variety of music from all over the world.

Acoustic Thursday Thursdays, noon-1 pm: Some of the best local musicians performing folk, Celtic, blues, Americana, and roots music.

Salsa on the Square Thursdays, 7-10 pm: In addition to the hottest salsa bands in town, dance instructors demonstrate and teach the basic moves.

MidPoint's Indie Summer Fridays, 7-11 pm: A great way to start the weekend! Four local, regional, and occasionally national bands play alternative and indie rock every Friday night.

Singer-Songwriter Night Fridays, 11 pm-1 amt: Local singer-songwriters host other aspiring musicians with a desire to share their original work.

Gospel Sunday Sundays, 5-7 pm: Gospel groups and solo performers singing songs of hope and inspiration.

Smooth Sunday Sundays, 7-9 pm: End the weekend with an evening of soul and R&B as you kick back and watch the sun set behind the buildings of the city.
