First held in 1976, the event has grown to become North America's largest Oktoberfest with over 500,000 people attending each year.

Oktoberfest-Zinzinnati typically takes place on the third weekend of September. The event site covers five blocks of Fifth Street - incluiding Fountain Square - in downtown Cincinnati.

Park affordably for only $4 on Friday and $5 on Saturday and Sunday (up to 8 hours). To park at Fountain Square, enter the Garage from Walnut Street (the Vine Street entrance is closed for the festival). From the intersection of Sixth and Walnut, turn south on Walnut and look for the Fountain Square Garage entrance on the right about midway down the block. Flaggers will guide you to the entrance. Once you park and come up the elevator, you will be right in the middle of the festival!
