PNC Salsa on the SquarePNC Summer Music Series
Thursdays, 7 to 10 p.m. Fountain Square can get hot in the summer, but it's a lot hotter on Thursday nights when bands like Tropicoso, Acapulco, Son del Caribe, and ¡Zumba! lay down spicy Latin rhythms. Instructors on the dance floor teach the basic steps, and when it gets too hot, dancers cool down with a cold soft drink or adult beverage. A variety of food items from Skyline, Abuelo's and The Elusive Cow will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Then head over to Bootsy's, the official after party location for Salsa! Fans of Salsa on the Square can pick up a copy of this year's compilation CD, featuring tracks from each of the bands performing in 2010.
