St. Patrick's Day

Wednesday, March 17, 2010, 5-10 p.m.

Cincinnati may be a German town, but we know how to celebrate St. Patrick's Day properly, that is, with a party on Fountain Square!

Everyone's Irish on Wednesday, March 17, when we offer Irish food, music, and plenty of Irish liquid refreshments all evening!

This year Arnold's Bar and Grill sold Irish stew and  McCormick & Schmick's offered corned beef sandwiches, bangers and Irish coneys.

Popular party band the Naked Karate Girls got things started with their high-energy, highly entertaining show, and U2 cover band Joshua's Tree kept spirits high through the evening hours. Naked Karate Girls performed from 4:45 to 7 p.m., and Joshua's Tree performed from 7:30 to 10p.m.

Check out pictures of this year's party here.

Special thanks to our presenting sponsors Guinness and Jameson!

In addition, Fountain Square invited all to enjoy the 44th annual Cincinnati St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 13, 2010, as it passed by the Square.  Check out pictures here.
