On Tuesday, November 20, 2007, we held the first annual Turkey Bowl on the Fountain Square ice rink.

Seventeen people took the chance to bowl frozen turkeys on the slick surface while spectators lined the rink platform. Participants contributed nonperishable food items and cash to the FreestoreFoodbank.

Mark Bower of Green Township notched the high score of 22 pins knocked down out of a possible 30 and took home an iPod Shuffle.

Celebrity bowlers included Cincinnati Bengals Corey Mays, Frostee Rucker, and Eric Ghiaciuc; Rich Graeter of Graeter's Ice Cream, and the FreestoreFoodbank's board chair. Constance Brenneman of My64 was emcee.
