About us: Fountain Square volunteers are bright, energetic doers who help create positive experiences for visitors. In the past year, volunteers have, among other things:
Many nonprofits hold events to raise money to fund their services, but at Fountain Square Management, our events are our services. We fulfill our mission by actively programming Fountain Square to bring more activity and investment to downtown and the region. If you would like to help, please join our e-mail list to find out about volunteer opportunities as they arise. Also see below for immediate volunteer needs. If you have questions, feel free to contact Event Manager Suzanne Schindler at sschindler@3cdc.org or 513.621.4400 x124. Thank you! Fountain Square Management Group is a nonprofit organization that plans and produces events and manages the day to day operations of Fountain Square. Call for Volunteers Cincinnati Beer Fest September 10-12, 2010 shift times vary over three days Volunteers are needed for the Cincinnati Beer Fest, taking place on Fountain Square September 10-12, 2010. Volunteers will pour samples sizes of beer into reusable cups. Other volunteer roles include wristbands and security. The Cincinnati Beer Fest is organized by and raises money for the nonprofit Fountain Square Management Group, a subsidiary of 3CDC. By volunteering, you support downtown’s turnaround as well as future events on Fountain Square. This year’s Beer Fest is bigger than before, with three days, more food, and continuous live music on two stages. Volunteers receive free onsite parking, a ticket good for four tastes or one full drink before or after your shift, and training (a one-sheet the week of the event and on-site training at the start of each shift.) Volunteers should be 21 & older, please. A note on tips: On Friday, all tips will go to Team in Training, in return for providing the majority of volunteers that day. Individual volunteers on Saturday and Sunday will get to keep tips made at their booths during their shift. Plenty of shifts are available, so choose what works best for you! We invite you to sign up with friends or family members and volunteer together. We just need your name and the number of people who will volunteer with you.
