What: The Cincinnati Zombie Walk is a gathering of like minded individuals who all share one very important goal: Absolute zombie takeover!
When: Saturday, October 20th at 7:30PM
Who: The walk is FREE and open to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Why: The Cincinnati Zombie Walk is a great opportunity to take our minds out of day-to-day routines, right around the time from Halloween events. Still not convinced? Those behind the event are also partnering with the Freestore Foodbank to collect canned goods on behalf of those in need and to help raise awareness about hunger in our community.
All participants who plan to attend the 2012 Cincinnati Zombie Walk are encouraged to bring a canned good or two in support of the Freestore Foodbank. Two collection points have been assigned for the donated products, the first of which being the Freedom Center and the second being Fountain Square.
How It Works: The projected route has been split in two groups, one for the East and one for the West. Both routes will end at Fountain Square in waves from different directions, effectively surrounding the Search Tactics and Rescue Squad (S.T.A.R.S.), the only specialized task force designed to combat zombie outbreaks. Need a map? See below.
Finally, if you somehow manage to survive the outbreak (kidding!), all revelers are invited to the After Party (from 9:30PM to 11:30PM) on Fountain Square. The party is FREE and open to everyone and will also feature live music and theatrical performances. Want more details? Visit the Cincinnati Zombie Walk’s Official Website!
