2023 Tree Trimming Party 

The Prolink Holiday Tree makes its grand entrance at Fountain Square on Saturday, November 4! Celebrate with us at a festive Tree Trimming Party in the WGU Ohio Warming Tent while the tree is installed from 10am to 2pm. Local artist, James Reynolds, will lead a free ornament crafting activity for patrons.

The UC Health Ice Rink, presented by Fifth Third Bank opens for skating on Saturday with FREE admission from 8a-12p as the tree is installed. If arriving after 12p, rink admission is $10 and includes skate rental.

Opening weekend festivities continue Sunday, Nov. 5 with special events including a Bengal’s Tailgate and Watch Party with live music, skating, and more. The Prolink Holiday Tree serves as the centerpiece of 2023 Prolink Light Up the Square event which will take place on Friday, Nov. 24, from 6pm to 10pm.

Fountain Square Ice Rink Information

Rink admission is payable by credit or debit card or mobile payments only (no cash). Admission is walk-up only, no reservations. The rink is open to skaters of all ages. Children under 55 inches must be accompanied by an adult while on the ice. Admission and skate rental close one hour before the rink closes. Times are subject to change due to weather or special events.

Fountain Square serves hot and cold beverages including Coca-Cola products, beer, seltzer and liquor from brands like Boone County Distilling Co., Toledo Spirits Co., Taft’s Ale House, Rhinegeist Brewery, Fifty West Brewing Company, Bud Light, Heineken, White Claw, Yes Way Rosé, NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer, Cutwater Spirits, Stella Artois, Michelob Ultra, Modelo, and Dark Horse.

Fountain Square is located at 520 Vine Street in Downtown Cincinnati. Safe and secure parking is available at Fountain Square’s underground garage facility.
