College Night at the Rink

College students...you’ve worked hard this semester! Soak up your winter break and treat yourself to a Wednesday night out before your weekend begins! Mix and mingle with other students from surrounding schools both on the ice and in the warming tent.

During Wednesday Night College Skates, all college students can enjoy BOGO Free admission (includes skate rental) to the UC Health Ice Rink presented by Fifth Third Bank.

Both patrons must present a valid College ID to receive the BOGO discount.

Fountain Square Ice Rink Information

• General Ice Rink Admission is $10 (unless stated otherwise for a special event) and includes admission and skate rental. Payable by credit or debit card or mobile payments (Visa/MasterCard/AmEx). 
• Children ages 3 and under are free with paid adult admission and must be accompanied on the ice at all times. 
• Admission is walk-up only, no reservations.
• The rink is open to skaters of all ages.
• Children under 55 inches must be accompanied by an adult while on the ice.
• Admission and skate rental close one hour before the rink closes. Times are subject to change due to weather or special events.
• The 2024/2025 Ice Rink season will be ice skating only. After three years of use, the bumper cars have reached the end of their useful life. Rather than buying a new fleet at this time, we have decided to focus on the skating experience.

The Fountain Bar, located on Fountain Square, serves hot and cold beverages including Coca-Cola products, beer, seltzers, and liquor from brands like Boone County Distilling Co., Rhinegeist Brewery, Fifty West Brewing Company, Bud Light, Heineken, White Claw, NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer, Cutwater Spirits, Michelob Ultra, Modelo, The Christian Moerlein Brewing Co., Kona Big Wave, El Jimador, and Dark Horse. No outside alcohol is permitted on The Square. Bags and coolers are subject to search. Those bringing in outside alcohol may be ticketed for open container.

Fountain Square is located at 520 Vine Street in Downtown Cincinnati. Safe and secure parking is available at Fountain Square’s underground garage facility.
