The 2012 Holiday Season Marks the Return of Trains, Trestles and Traditions to the Krohn Conservatory!
This years’ show combines the splendor of the traditional holiday blooms with an over the top, train and holiday light experience. Get re-acquainted with local traditions and enjoy the beauty of the season. Decorated in full holiday attire including hundreds of poinsettias, cyclamen and evergreens, the conservatory is a wonder to behold. Take a photo of your family near the poinsettia tree or in front of the Krohn Conservatory’s train display adorned with miniature buildings that replicate the look of Cincinnati’s famous landmarks.
Fantastic Trains and Historical Botanical Architecture:
Applied Imagination is unique in the world of garden railway displays. The train display and historical buildings created by Applied Imagination will immerse our visitors in the sights and sounds of chugging trains and splashing water, with trains overhead and trolleys at your feet. The “botanical architecture” of bridges and historical buildings, including the new Roebling Bridge, are all constructed of locally gathered willow and other natural materials. We are proud to bring this creative team to Krohn for this over the top installation at the Krohn Holiday Show.
