Fountain Square Broomball League

Not Your Typical Co-Rec League

Watch teams play under the lights on the Fountain Square ice rink in the heart of downtown, with live game coverage, announcers, and scores on the giant video board!

Live announcers call each game - with much humor, of course - and the Fountain Square video board becomes a giant TV with a scoreboard, time clock, and live game coverage from two cameras.

Broomball combines elements of soccer and hockey. Players wear gym shoes, not skates, and use sticks with a small, broom-shaped head to pass the ball and score goals. It's free to watch the games, and concessions are open with adult beverages available.

Congratulations to 2008 champions the Merrill Lynch Bulls! The Bulls defeated the formidable Demonic Diamonds in a decisive 3-0 victory in the 2008 Contusion Bown Championship.

Team registration for the 2009 season will open in early November 2008.
