Originated in Canada, and now played worldwide, broomball combines elements of soccer and hockey.

Players wear gym shoes, not skates, and use sticks with a small, broom-shaped head to pass the ball and score goals.Live announces call each game - with much humor, of course - and the Fountain Square video board becomes a giant TV with a scoreboard, time clock and live camera coverage.

It's free to watch the games, and adult beverages are available.

Fountain Square Broomball will return in January 2010! Registration will open in November 2009.

Presenting Sponsorship is available. Please see attachment or contact Casey Gilmore at cgilmore@3cdc.org.
